Faction: Gurista Pirates
Mission Type: Encounter
Space type: Deadspace w/gates
Damage Dealt: Kinetic, Thermal
Web/Scramble: Guristas Kyoukan/Webifiers
Extras: Jamming.
Recommended damage dealing: Kinetic/Thermal
Recommended ships: Raven

Pocket 1:

Drones will cause aggro to themselves, but ships might not aggro you if you pull the drones in.

Group A - (insta aggro)

1x Battleship (Pith Destroyer)
4x Battlecruiser (Pithatis Enforcer/Executor)

Group B triggered by A -

1x Battleship (Pith Usurper)
3x Battlecruiser (Pithatis assassin/assaulter)
4x Elite Frigates (Guristas Webifier/Kyokan) (Web/Scramble)

Group C -

9x Battlecruiser (Pithatis Enforcer/Executor/Assaulter)

Group D - (at gate)

4x Destroyer (Pithior Guerilla/Renegade)
6x Battlecruiser (Pithatis Enforcer/Assaulter/Executor)
2x Battleship (Pith Destroyer)

Group E - (Aggroes the rest, take this out last)

4x Battleship (Pith Eradicators)

tip: warp in, wait for aggro from group a , kill A ( which triggers B ), Kill B and then easaly C then D and at last E

Structures drop no loot.

Pocket 1

Pocket 2

Aggro from all on warp-in.

2x Destroyer (Pithior Guerilla)
5x Cruiser (Pithium Eraser/Abolisher)
1x Battleship (Pith Eliminator)
2x Battleship (Pith Extinguisher)

That Pith Eliminator was saved for last, so I'm positive he jammed me once. Was only jammed that once, so he must not be very effective at it. This ship ALSO dropped the mission loot can, despite what CCP's mission description states as of May 7, 2007. (The Silo didn't even leave a wreck when blown.)

Last ship drops the loot.

Structures:
3x Habitation Modules - one had 10 long limbed roses and 10 carbon
2x storage facilities - no loot
3x rig reactors - no loot
5x hangars - no loot
A LOT x Cargo Rig - no loot

Pocket 2

This mission is a storyline , it should be classed as "important"

In Pocket 2 I first killed the BSs and while my Drones fought the smaller stuff I took out the Silo. It dropped: some charges, trade goods and 1 Caldari CU-1 Nexus Chip. The mission loot however was in the last enemy ship as reported.

20 Jan 2009 -- Pocket 1, Group A no longer insta agros, so you can quielty motor out to kiting/sniping range. Group B agros as soon as you attack Group A, so be prepared to kill their web/scrammers before the battleships get close enough to harm you. Raven still ok; even using T1 equipment such as XT-9000 cruise missile launchers with two kin and one therm active shield hardeners.

If Group A doesn't auto-aggro, you can engage Group B without A attacking you or your drones.

"Drones can be deployed normally and do not cause pocket aggro."

cannot confirm this, just lost some t2 drones to side-aggro

ca. 50 min + clean up
Pocket 1: Flew away from them in my T2 fitted Rokh. Read the guide (Very important) (normal/hard difficulty, if you follow the guide).
Warning: Manage the gro at all times as they hit kinda hard even at distance.
Pocket 2: normal difficulty

My drones got aggro from Grp A while I was engaged with grp B, so wait till after A+B has been detroyed/aggroed before drone deployment.

I dont like Gueristas missions and this one also took some time. Had to refit Abaddon and install 2 additional HS II and drone link aug cause I had not enough firepower to kill destroyer in the first pocket.

This one gives insane rewards.
Yesterday it gave me a Mining Foreman Mindlink.
Today: Higwall HX-2 implant worth 150 mil

this gave me an 8.4% standing increase, very nice mission, simple and easy if you follow instructions and avoid whole pocket agro.

PulsePaladin 2xthem/2xkin hard, 1 LAR, // 2 HS, 1TC, 1SB

1st pocket
A aggroed a few seconds after warp in. Returning fire did not aggro B.
B was destroyed next, then C, D, E.
2nd pocket was a breeze

The cruisers pop in seconds, just the BS are the usual lazers vs. gurista pain..

Some of the BS's in this mission will target jam you, FYI. I just waited it out; they rarely chain-jammed.

Reward is useless to me, but sold for 12 million ISK.

Standing reward is insane, just brought me from -0.95 Amarr Standing all the way up to -0.11, even though I was flying this one for the Ammatar. Ship setup was quite similar to that of TalshaTalamar above, mission was a walk in a park. ME LIKE! :)

Groups in pocket 1 seem to be chained to their spawn locations, they don't move far from there. Should come in handy for everyone with long-range weapons. Drone aggro from the scrammers is dangerous. Recommend taking them out from a distance if need be.

Standings change after running this mission:
Min -4.428%
Gal - 2.8958%
Cal - + 2.6619%
Amar - 6.6039%
Everything is pretty much as stated, however did get some trade goods and reports from one of the structures in the second pocket (not worth the time)

Mission bugged out, no storage containers, silo was not targetable
Comment by Tatanka

OK here's the issue. The storage containers are in the last STRUCTURE you kill, not the last ship. You have to destroy every structure in the second room. And the silo is still not targetable. No idea what's up with that.

Nope, last structure had the trade goods. Still no sealed containers to finish the mission.

GMs were good enough to award the sealed containers, so I could finish the mission. After three tries, it looks like this mission is bugged. Will bug it in game, so maybe they'll fix it.

Storage Silo never did become lockable, so no Nexus chip.
