When you destroy all members of the same ship class a new spawn of same ship class appears (e.g. destroy all the frigates and a new spawn of frigates appears). The new spawns aggro drones. You will get a new spawn twice for each ship class i.e. in total there are 3 frigate spawns, and 3 cruiser spawns.
The mission is complete when you destroy all hostile ships, including all re-spawns.

3 x 0.018 standing loss against caldari makes it worse. Better than other
faction missions compared with insignia drop. If you are faster, you lose less standing.
The lack of bounties and poor loot/salvage makes this mission a total loss, not to mention the extreme possability of the loss of your ship.

The cruisers in the second and forth wave employ nearly endless sensor dampening. If you don't have drones set to aggressive or FoF missiles, get them.

Easy LP and a nice haul of tags too, so I'd recommend this to anyone who does not worry about losing Caldari standings ;-)
As a side note, I've never gone more than two jumps to do this mission.
Unless you need the Tags - pass up this mission
Evepraisal for the loot including tags and salvage was worth about 17 Mil. I had to go 6 jumps for the mission, so profitwise it is not the best deal. The quick LP are still nice though, 8925 in my case.
One of the Frigate spawn waves has a WARP DISRUPTOR.
Killing the next-to-last spawn wave of cruisers marked the mission as complete for me, but I had to destroy an extra frigate that was warp disrupting me.
