1. Paladin (Standard)


Design Notes
Use: Vanguard, Assault (mid-range dps), HQ (mid-range dps) and Kundalini Manifest.

The Paladin has a great web bonus for close range encounters, excels with alpha damage and makes a great long range sniper.
Not recommended as a starter ship for incursions.

The limitations in base resist and slot count makes the Paladin a rare candidate for using a stack of 3x EANMs.
The benefits outweigh the stacking penalties incurred.

When used for mid-range dps/Kundalini Manifest, refit mid slots to 2-3x tracking computers and 1-2x painter/cap recharger/sensor booster.

Note1:
It is highly recommended that the utility high slots be fitted with 2x Large Energy Transfers and 1x Large RR.
In emergency situations, the energy transfers can used to re-establish the cap-chain for Guardians who has lost their cap buddy.
Likewise, if the fleet has 2 Paladins in the field cap-chaining each other, its emergency RR can be applied for at least 4-8 mins.

Note2:
Centii/Corpii A-Type Adaptive Nano Plating can be fitted selectively to raise the overall resist and buffer, keeping the cost affordable.

Note3:
The alternate tank which favors more armor buffer over resistance can be achieved by dropping the 3rd EANM for a second 1600mm plate.
The overall RR defence efficiency will be significantly reduced by 19% to 277 (which is below the average 300).

1. Paladin (Gank)


Design Notes
Use: Vanguard, Assault (mid-range dps), HQ (mid-range dps) and Kundalini Manifest.

A minor variation of the Standard fitting. The armor hp is slightly reduced for increased dps.
A T2 Energy Collision Accelerator replaces one of the trimark rigs.

The alternative is a T2 Energy Burts Aerator which gives 20dps extra over the above, but reduces cap life from 8m 11s to 6m 19s.
For assault and above, this will make the ship more reliant on cap transfers from logistics ships unless it has another battleship cap buddy.

When used for mid-range dps/Kundalini Manifest, refit mid slots to 2-3x tracking computers and 1-2x painter/cap recharger/sensor booster.

The rig slot can be kept as is with 2x trimarks or a T2 energy weapon rig can be fitted into one of the rig slot as above.
