1. Apocalypse Navy Issue (Standard)


Design Notes
Use: Vanguard, Assault (mid-range dps), HQ (mid-range dps) and Kundalini Manifest.

Its slot count is identical to the Armageddon Navy Issue.
Fittings between the two ships are almost identical, with exception of the rigs.

The range advantage of this ship confers slightly better dps at certain ranges, in addition to being able to hit farther with Scorch.
However, for short range (below 15-18km) and the typical Scorch range, it is outclassed by other Amarr T1/faction battleships.
This ship is best used as a sniper for Assault, HQ or the Kundalini Manifest site.

Not recommended as a starter ship for incursions.

The resist focus is towards the Kin/Exp side to minimize Sansha missile damage - this is the greater danger for battleships.
The EM/Therm resist it not a great concern as long as it's in the 70-75% range or higher, depending on slot/base resist limitations.

When used for mid-range dps/Kundalini Manifest, refit mid slots to 2-3x tracking computers and 1-2x painter/cap recharger.

Note1:
If Meta4 mega pulse lasers are fitted, the ship can only be effectively used for vanguards only.

Note2:
The faction EANM can be upgraded to a Centii/Corpii A-type ANP for a minor increase in resistance/buffer.

Note3:
The T2 energy locus coordinator rig builds strongly upon the ship's range advantage by extending its optimal range.
The alternate option is a second trimark armor pump rig.

Note4:
A T2 energy collision accelerator/burst aerator rig may be fitted to increase the raw dps without losing a low slot.
However, due to the limited rig calibration points (350), the trimark armor pump rig will need to be removed.

Design Notes
Use: Assault (sniper), HQ (sniper) and Kundalini Manifest.

Simple module swaps (from Standard fitting) for sniper duty.

Two sensor boosters are needed to enable targeting > 150km.
Requires a minimum Squire PG4 (3% powergrid) implant.

Note1:
For target's range < 150km, the Imperial Navy Infrared (with 2x optimal scripts) gives better effective dps than T2 Aurora.
Its comparative tracking is improved 244% with the same amount of dps.

For the typical incursion sniping range 100-150km, T2 Aurora usage is unecessary.
Use Imperial Navy Infrared or shorter ranged crystals.

2. Apocalypse Navy Issue (Gank)


Design Notes
Use: Vanguard, Assault (mid-range dps), HQ (mid-range dps) and Kundalini Manifest.

A variation of the standard fitting with improved dps.
Overall buffer and RR efficiency is reduced.

The kinetic hardener is removed to release 1 low slot for a heat sink (or tracking enhancer).
The rig slot is re-shuffled by replacing the anti-thermic pump with a kinetic pump.

When used for mid-range dps/Kundalini Manifest, refit mid slots to 2-3x tracking computers and 1-2x painter/cap recharger.
