1. Armageddon (Starter)


Design Notes
Use: Vanguard, Assault (mid-range dps), HQ (mid-range dps) and Kundalini Manifest.

Decent cap but plagued by CPU/PG fitting issues.
T2 mega pulse lasers can be substituted with Meta4 lasers, which saves enough CPU for a second T2 EANM.

When used for mid-range dps/Kundalini Manifest, refit mid slots to 1-2x tracking computers and 1-2x painter/cap recharger.

If Meta4 mega pulse lasers are fitted, the ship can only be effectively used for vanguards only.

Design Notes
Use: Vanguard, Assault (mid-range dps), HQ (mid-range dps) and Kundalini Manifest.

Selected use of faction modules is necessary for an improved T2 fit (due to the CPU issues).
Futher improvements on cap conservation by upgrading to T2 Large Energy Discharge Elutriation rigs.
Faction dual-webbers is mandatory to apply full battleship damage to smaller targets within its range.

When used for mid-range dps/Kundalini Manifest, refit mid slots to 1-2x tracking computers and 1-2x painter/cap recharger.

Design Notes
Use: Assault (sniper), HQ (sniper) and Kundalini Manifest.

Simple module swaps (from Standard fitting) for sniper duty.

The lack of powergrid is major problem. Downgrading to full T2 dual-beams is perhaps the best compromise.
It increases tracking and cap life but degrades range and raw dps (within acceptable limits).

The alternative option is fitting 6x T2 mega beam lasers + 1 drone link aug.
It offers slightly better raw dps, better dmg projection but at the cost of tracking and cap life and it requires a minimum Squire PG2 (1% powergrid) implant.

3. Armageddon (Gank)


Design Notes
Use: Vanguard, Assault (mid-range dps), HQ (mid-range dps) and Kundalini Manifest.

Kin and Therm resists are lowered to release 1 low slot for an extra heat sink (or tracking enhancer).
Gives 12% more raw dps when a heat sink is fitted.

Both armor buffer for EM/Therm and Kin/Exp is reduced by 9% and 21% respectively when compared to the Standard fitting.
The specific RR defence efficiency for EM/Therm drops from 323 to 293 (which is a 9% drop) and Kin/Exp drops from 408 to 321 (which is a 21% drop).
The overall RR defence efficiency drops by 18%, reducing the effectiveness of RR from logistic ships.

When used for mid-range dps/Kundalini Manifest, refit mid slots to 1-2x tracking computers and 1-2x painter/cap recharger.

Note1:
Obviously, a second 1600mm plate can be fitted to give a better buffer than the Standard fitting (but worser Therm & Kin resist).

(Gank -> T2 Sniper refit)


Design Notes
Use: Assault (sniper), HQ (sniper) and Kundalini Manifest.

Simple module swaps (from the Gank fitting) for sniper duty.
Requires a minimum Squire PG4 implant (3% powergrid).

Fitting a T2 reactor control unit in the low slot allows mounting of all 7x T2 mega beam lasers.
While it is a wasteful slot usage, the benefit gained is greater over having the 3rd heat sink (which will be stacked to 57% effectiveness).
It also gives a better dmg projection over the T2 dual-beams. Cap life is shortened, needing careful management.

The alternative option is fitting 7x Meta4 mega beams, which will not require an implant.
Dps will be impacted by 10% for close/mid-range. The loss of T2 Aurora crystal reduces long range sniper dps by roughly 40%.
