1. Kronos (Standard)


Design Notes
Use: Vanguard.

Largely overshadowed by the Vindicator in terms of performance.
Nevertheless, it has a lower ammo running cost and can serve as an emergency cap partner for the Guardians.
The blaster range weakness removes any mid-range dps roles for this ship.

Not recommended as a starter ship for incursions.

The resist focus is towards the Kin/Exp side to minimize Sansha missile damage - this is the greater danger for battleships.
The EM/Therm resist it not a great concern as long as it's in the 70-75% range or higher, depending on slot/base resist limitations.

Note1:
It is highly recommended that the utility high slots be fitted with 2x Large Energy Transfers and 1x Large RR.
In emergency situations, the energy transfers can used to re-establish the cap-chain for Guardians who has lost their cap buddy.
Likewise, if the fleet has 2 Kronos in the field cap-chaining each other, its emergency RR can be applied for at least 4-8 mins.

Note2:
Depending on the fleet composition, the mid slot modules can be re-shuffled to fit more tracking computers/webifiers.

Note3:
The faction EANM can be upgraded to a Centii/Corpii A-type ANP for a minor increase in resistance/buffer.

2. Kronos (Gank)


Design Notes
Use: Vanguard.

A minor variation of the Standard fitting with (14%) improved raw dps.
The tank is changed to full passive.

The explosive hardener is removed to free-up 1 low slot for a magstab (or tracking enhancer).
An anti-explosive pump replaces one of the trimark armor pumps.

The high kinetic resist (78%) balances out the slightly lower explosive resist (66%).
This gives an acceptable specific Kin/Exp RR efficiency of 272 (against the average of 300).

Note1:
It is also highly recommended that an extra 1600mm be fitted (by removing the third magstab) for the above sites to ensure higher survivability against alpha damage.
The armor buffer is a little low for armor battleship in those sites due to the combination of alpha damage and delayed remote repair.

Note2:
