1. Megathron Navy Issue (Standard)


Design Notes
Use: Vanguard.

An improved variant of the Megathron with a heavier tank.

The navy issue variant has better shields, armor and structure than the standard Megathron.
It also has 1 extra low slot, in addition to an increased base speed, CPU, PG and drone bay size.

Not recommended as a starter ship for incursions.

The resist focus is towards the Kin/Exp side to minimize Sansha missile damage - this is the greater danger for battleships.
The EM/Therm resist it not a great concern as long as it's in the 70-75% range or higher, depending on slot/base resist limitations.

Note1:
The mid slot modules can be re-shuffled for any combination of tracking sensor boosters/tracking computers/webifiers.
Typical mid slot arrangement for armor ships is minimum 2 tracking computers, minimum 1 webifier (2 preferred).

Note2:
The auto targeting system increases the ship's target count (requires minimum Multitasking 1 to utilize the target count increase).
Alternate modules that can also be fitted are large energy transfers (recommended), large remote armor repairs or drone link augmentors.

Note3:
A trimark armor pump may be removed in favor of an anti-thermic pump (which brings up thermal resist to 76%).
The Kin/Exp armor buffer will be reduced by 15%.

Note4:
A T1/T2 hybrid collision accelerator/burst aerator rig may be fitted to increase raw dps.
Due to the limited rig calibration points (350), 2 armor rigs will need to removed for a T2 rig.

Design Notes
Use: Assault (sniper), HQ (sniper) and Kundalini Manifest.

Simple module swaps (from Standard fitting) for sniper duty.

Note1:
Having three tracking computers gives the flexibility of using faction Iridium effectively < 130km over T2 Spike.

Note2:
One T2 sensor booster allows targeting up to 145km, barely adequate for most sniper scenarios.
This can be improved by fitting a faction sensor booster which allows targeting up to 150km.

Overall resists and armor buffer are reduced.

The kinetic hardener is removed to release 1 low slot for a extra magstab (or tracking enhancer).
An anti-kinetic pump replaces one of the trimark armor pumps.
