1. Vindicator (Standard)


Design Notes
Use: Vanguard

A favourite ship for many experienced incursion runners due to its effectiveness.
The ship's major strength is the synergies between high alpha/dps/tracking with marauder-like 90% webs and good low/mid slot layout.
It's major weakness however is (blaster) range, which affects effective damage projection and removes any mid-range dps roles for the ship.

Not recommended as a starter ship for incursions.

The resist focus is towards the Kin/Exp side to minimize Sansha missile damage - this is the greater danger for battleships.
The EM/Therm resist it not a great concern as long as it's in the 70-75% range or higher, depending on slot/base resist limitations.

Note1:
Depending on the fleet composition, the mid slot modules can be re-shuffled to fit more tracking computers/webifiers.

Note2:
The faction EANM can be upgraded to a Centii/Corpii A-type ANP for a minor increase in resistance/buffer.

Design Notes
Use: Assault (sniper), HQ (sniper) and Kundalini Manifest.

Simple module swaps (from Standard fitting) for sniper duty.
The ship is an effective sniper with T2 rails.

Two sensor boosters are needed as minimum to target > 150km.

Note1:
Having three tracking computers gives the flexibility of using faction Iridium effectively < 130km over T2 Spike.
However, it decreases cap life significantly by opting out on a cap recharger.

2. Vindicator (Gank)


Design Notes
Use: Vanguard

A variation of the standard Vindicator with improved dps, tracking and damage projection.
The 1600mm plate is removed to release 1 low slot for an extra magstab (or tracking enhancer).
Centii/Corpii A-type ANP are utilized to partly mitigate the loss in Kin resist.

The T2 Hybrid Locus Coordinator can be swapped for a T2 Hybrid Burst Aerator/Collision Accelerator for 6-9% extra raw dps.
However, due to rig calibration points limitation, the 2nd trimark rig will have to be removed - further reducing the ship's armor hp.

Note1:
Depending on the fleet composition, the mid slot modules can be re-shuffled to fit more tracking computers/webifiers.

Note2:
A full passive fit can be achieved by substituting the explosive hardener with Corpum/Centum A-Type energized reactive plating.

Note1:
It is also highly recommended that a 1600mm be fitted for the above sites to ensure higher survivability against alpha damage.
The default 15K armor is a little low for armor battleship in those sites due to the combination of alpha damage and delayed remote repair.

Note2:
Having three tracking computers gives the flexibility of using faction Iridium effectively < 140km.
This removes the need for T2 Spike for most scenarios.
However, it decreases cap life significantly by opting out on a cap recharger.
