Chapter 2, Songs of the Past



Mission 1 - Dead End Intercept

Faction: Minmatar Republic
Mission type: Encounter
Space type: Normal space

Initial Spawn

1x Elite Battleship ( Lomar Vujik's Tempest )


Mission 2 - Surfacing

Faction: Mercenaries
Mission type: Encounter
Location: Jark (Derelik)
Space type: Normal space
Damage dealt: All
Web/Scramble: Wingman, Spider Drone

Fly 11 jumps to Jark in Derelik to pick up an item (Encrypted Tranmission, 0.1m3).

This is actually an encouter. Non-deadspace, no acceleration gate. Warps in at 40k from target (Tili's Brothel). When you get close (28km) to the Red Light Palace a number of Mercenary NPCs will spawn within a few KM, doing quite a bit of mixed-type damage. Recommend short range heavy weapons for the BSs and longer range light weapons and drones for the cruisers and frigates.

Initial Group (5 - 20km)

2 frigates - Mercenary Wingman web
4 cruiser - Mercenary Commander, orbit at 14k
5 battleships - Mercenary Overlord; scourge heavy missile trigger

Trigger is probably last Overlord.

Wave 2 (5-20km)

2 frigates - Mercenary Wingman web
6 cruisers - Mercenary Commander
4 battleships - Mercenary Overlord trigger

Trigger is probably last Overlord.

Wave 3 (5-20km)

9 frigates - 3 Spider Drone web, 2 Mercenary Wingman web, 4 Mercenary Elite Fighter
3 battleships - Mercenary Overlord

You will need to kill the NPCs to complete the mission; just tanking them, picking up the Encrypted Transmission and returning to the agent is not sufficient.


Mission 3 - Who Art in Heaven

Faction: Angel
Mission type: Encounter
Space type: Normal space
Damage dealt: Explosive (62%)
Web/Scramble: didn't let any frigates get close enough to find out

Note
The mission info says they are sending you to Arzad (which is Amarr low-sec) but for me the mission was actually in Erstur 1 jump from Aldrat (RSS Liaison Headquarters, agent home base).

Entire room aggros.

Group 1 (20-40K)
7 frigates (Arch Gistii Hunter, Arch Gistii Impaler)

Requires: Hacking skill and Codebreaker (I think)

Note
I assume a codebreaker is required for this. It didn't work for me, but I petitioned it and the GM closed the mission for me.

The Angel Battlestation took forever to kill and dropped no loot.
