When you start shooting at sentries (they lightly hit for everything, mostly EM and Thermal) the whole pocket aggros.
Rachen Mysuna has a 50km orbit range and 75% chance for shield boost (1000hp each 10 seconds) so low SP BS pilots can have problems breaking his tank. Rachen's 25% chance for defender doesn't help either. If you are a Raven pilot and can't handle it from distance, warp out and warp in again, then get closer (afterburner can help) and wait until he starts shooting you. Loot can be quite good (like Arbalest Cruise + Siege, named 350mm Railgun etc.).
To be honest, I heard a few times that it isn't possible to kill Mysuna without Torps. :) Well I personally finished him from 50km using T1 Wrath Cruise Missiles, without drones. All depends on skills and equipment. If you're droning be aware that he is VERY resistant to thermal. Wasps or even Wardens are preferable to Gardes and Ogres.
Rachen Mysuna is easier to kill when webbed to slow down. Was able to take her out with a heavy missile t1 drake once a friend put 2 webs on her and slowed the speed down to 40; took less than 12 volleys then. Without the speed her tank dies quickly under scourge heavy missiles (xr-3200 launchers too) (10/15/11)
Guristas War Installation drops rubbish loot (like 100 Light Missiles, Small NOS, 250mm T1 Railgun and Malkuth Rocket launcher).
Blitz No real blitz must clear first 2 pockets to proceed into 3rd room
TIP
I did the mission while flying a HAMGu (Heavy Assault Missle Tengu), I directly burned towards Rachen and orbitted at 7500m he couldnt hit me and since it was the first target i did not have any problems with an insane tank. So it might be that his tank gets triggered after you kill something else first. Mind it was a t2 fitted hamgu, only high meta item was the AB. It might be that you get webbed by the frigs while burning towards him, just dispatch them. It was easier than i expected.

3 Bcu T2 . Easy mission. Rachen went down like a sack. No trouble tanking any of the pockets.
With my old fitting (7*Arbalest, 3*BCS t2) it took much longer, so I suggest to get some help if you fly a lowskill/lowend BC for more damage.
Veldspar 8x 50000, 5x 70000, 6x 90000. Max 43k from warpin.

Could not break Misuna's active tank and he couldn't touch my passive. But, I did notice if you chase him to the edge of the pocket's grid he does head towards the player somewhat giving you a chance to catch up to him. Personally I couldn't even get him to 4/5th shields when he was 50km out. Once I had him at 12km he was a piece of cake.

I fly a Drake, my experience with the mission has been while low to moderately skilled in missiles, and if his active tank didn't "stop" it would otherwise take me a long time to kill him.
It may be that he's scripted to "run out of cap", and that this aspect of the mission is a lot easier than it's made out to be here.
Got him in the end with pulse lasers II and scorchs crytals + vespas II.

Dropped the heavy cap booster, and fitted a standard 100MN afterburner I, and a heavy Nos I. Using the afterburner I was able to get within range of the Nos, drain him, and he dropped in 3 reloads.

Honestly, my missile skills are pretty poor, as evidenced by my lack of T2 launchers, and this set up took him down easily. This was without implants or boosters as well. Obviously, the rest of the Pocket was cleared out prior to refitting the Raven.

I used artillery (loaded with Phased Plasma) in the Hurricane for most of the trash mobs, then refit with 425mm AC IIs (loaded with Barrage) for Mysuna. Seemed to work just fine.

Pocket 1: Had artillery fitted and had to warp out. Blasted remaining away with Auto cannons
Pocket 2: Needed 1 warp out I think
Pocket 3: Killed the 2 ships close by and then I had to warp out.
At try 2 I used artillery and shot down the 4 webbers. Try 3 I took out the rest except for Mysuna.
Piss for Mysuna:
I warped out when Mysuna was the last one remaining. Then I equipped Large Shield Booster II, 1 heat shield II, 2 ballistic shields II and 100mn AB. Warped in and did not target him. I flew to him to 8km without getting aggro (Vespa drones out). Then I attacked him with my auto cannons (close combat) and he died within less then a minute and shields above 95%. It only took a couple of minutes to get back after the warp out since there is no need to travel to the 2nd and 3rd warp gate.
After the struggling first part I was very happy the last boss was such a piss :)
When it came to Misuna 5 Wasps I took her out easily.

Since Mysuna had a massive shield tank, I used EMP L ammo without a problem. I tore through the shields with the EMP L ammo and the Vespas kept the regen
down while I ripped through the armor. I didn't use more than an extra salvo or two off of what I normally use for Extinguishers. Mind you I normally
don't use the drones on Extinguishers.. they are usually killing cruisers.

took about 35 volleys but its faster than going and getting a torp raven then getting in range.
Don't use thermal against him, anything else will be a better choice.
10.2M reward + 12.5M loot the three pokets
Very easily done in a T1 Armageddon with skills.
About 5mill in loot. barely.
I find this a decent loot run contrary to other posts - consistently at 10m in loot and 9.7m in bounties this last run (0.6 space) on top of 2.2m in reward for me.
