Pocket 2

First Spawn:

3x Dire Pithi Plunderer (Elite Frigate class)
4x Dire Pithi Eraser (Elite Cruiser class)

Second Wave:

4x Pithi Nihilist (Frigate class)
3x Dire Pithi Abolisher (Elite Cruiser class)

Blitz: Take a fast frigate with afterburner. As soon as you warp into pocket 1, burn for the gate and warp. You'll need at least 200-300 points of tank, as you'll take a little fire. Once you drop out of warp in pocket 2, the mission will complete, and you can warp out before the bad guys can lock you.

The first pocket consists of a mixture of Destroyers, Battlecruisers, Cruisers and HAC's. Not sure where you get frigates from that fleet composition. Do not attempt to kill off this pocket in anything less than a well tanked BC.

Indeed not frigates, but the names seem to be correct.

I did it without speeding through the first pocket in a Drake with 120 dps and 200 defense/15k shield buffer (EM: 33%, E: 67%, K: 74%, T: 65%).

It took me 20 min to kill enough of the rats to reduce the incoming dps to less than my shield recharge rate. At that time my shields were at about 45%.

Dps output and jamming was my main problem. The 270k bounty guristas took forever to kill.

In the second pocket, there's the same number of Veldspar asteroids as in the level 4 version (184), containing roughly the same total amount (~7M of Veldspar) in "random amount" 'roids between 7K and 78K.

These guys put out a reasonable amount of firepower but have great shield regen so if you can't break a few quickly you might want to avoid fighting this.

I had 2x cruisers and 1x frigate spawn in wave 1 of pocket 1. In wave 1 of pocket 2, it was 3x frigates, 2x cruisers, 1x battlecruiser. Get in, get out, or get dead if you're not in a well tanked BC or higher.

I gat all cruisers in Pocket 1 and they were tough cruisers to boot, Dire Pitums w/ lots of jamming that took forever to kill with Hob IIs.

Why is this not blitzable? Tanked Cormorant with AB and overdrive injector, burn to first gate, warp, get mission success, warp home. My 1100pt shield is barely down 100 pts.

Completed in T1 fitted Drake.


7x Heavy Launcher I
3x Large Shield Extender I
2x Shield Power Relay I
2x beta Reactor Control Diagnostic System I (Meta 4)
1x Invulnerability Field I
2x Specific Hardeners
Used Caldari Navy Scourge Heavy Missiles

Be ready to spend a lot of time on the elite cruisers (270k bounty), they don't die very easily, about 28x7 CN Scourge missiles, definatley worth the ammo for the isk given overall, plus any misc salvage, loot isn't that great.

Mediocre skills (about 1.7mil sp).

Blitz is a bit annoying, that's why i went for the gunning part :p

It seems all the rats are equipped with 'Tracking Disruptors' making it necessary for Gunships to get in close quarters battle. Missiles & Drones will let the player standoff some therefore take less damage. I used a Proteus Strategic Cruiser and I could absorb all the damage dealt.
